General Glue reduces the negative effects of cracks, if any. It should be evenly applied on the horizontal surface (max. slope 10%), and creates, once dried, even an intermediate barrier layer between the substrate and the membrane. Glue used for cold application of bituminous membranes.
General Glue is ready for use and must be applied on the surface with a suitable bladed tool, special spray guns or pumps specifically built. The glue should be applied at a temperature not below 5° C (BPP membrane application temperature) for a consumption of 1 kg/m². The General Glue, placed under the bituminous surface, remains liquid for some time and is slowly absorbed by the membrane, preserving it from ageing.
