In 1997 General Membrane SpA receives ISO 9001 Certification of Quality Management System for design and production of bituminous waterproofing membranes. Certification which is also valid for commercialization of complementary products.

The Quality of Products is obtained from planned and controlled production processes, carried out by expert personnel, in an adequate and healthy work environment. The sampling and analysis programs of raw materials, semi-finished and finished products, the test methods, the instrumentation used and the laboratory environments where the tests are performed are equally important.
In short, it is important that the Quality Control is performed according to the highest standards. General Membrane has always invested important resources in Quality Control, as well as in Research and Development.
Each test is carried out in controlled environments (relative humidity, temperature), by qualified personnel, with the use of measuring equipment subjected to strict calibration programs, respecting all the test phases foreseen by the various methods. This is a significant advantage for customers: all the tests are carried out in the best possible way, without compromise in terms of precision and instrumentation used.
Furthermore QUALITY means keeping the promises we make in the company and in the markets over time.
