The compound employed in GEMINI VAPOR ALU membranes consists of a mixture of distilled modified bitumen, elasto-plastomeric polymers and atactic polypropylene; its excellent quality is highlighted by two indicators: cold flexibility (-10° C) and thermal shape stability (120° C). Membranes with good thermal shape stability are applicable in any climatic zone, but especially in countries with warm climates and on thermally insulated roofing. Good cold flexibility enables easy adaptation of the membrane during installation, an important feature in areas characterized by harsh climates.
The reinforcement used in GEMINI VAPOR ALU membranes consists of an aluminum foil which guarantees absolute impermeability to water vapor. These membranes are mainly intended to preserve the functionality of insulation, preventing vapor passage from the internal environment to the insulating material.
