GEMINI VAPOR membranes are a range of bituminous vapor barriers employing an aluminium laminated fiberglass carrier featuring extraordinary performance and ease of application.
GEMINI VAPOR employs a compound consisting in distilled bitumen modified with selected elasto-plastomeric polymers and atactic polypropylene; its excellent quality is highlighted by two indicators: low temperature flexibility (-10° C) and flow resistance at high temperature (120° C). Membranes with excellent flow resistance at high temperatures are suited to any climatic zone, and are particularly indicated in areas with warm climates and for use in thermally-insulated roofing systems.
Good cold flexibility enables an easy application of the membrane, an important feature in areas characterized by harsh climates.
The reinforcement employed in GEMINI VAPOR membranes consists of reinforced and rot-proof fiberglass mat coupled to aluminium laminate providing an effective barrier to the passage of vapor and preserving thermal insulation layers from moisture.
