General Rapid Primer is a bituminous solution consisting of oxidized bitumen and fast drying pure solvents.
General Rapid Primer is used as a base coat to treat dusty and porous concrete surfaces by enabling fast application and laying of polymer-bitumen membranes, in both hot application with flame and cold ones with bituminous adhesive products like "General Glue." The product is characterized by fast drying of the film, excellent penetration and adhesion to the surface and absence of surface tackiness.
Generally the product film completely dries after approximately one hour from application. Up to 2 hours may be required in case of high primer thickness, cold temperatures or not very absorbent surfaces. The primer consumption ranges from 200 to 350 grams per square meter.
