General Glue HV is bituminous mastic suitable for bonding polyurethane or polystyrene insulation panels on concrete, metal and bituminous membrane, but it is also suitable to bond bituminous membranes, vertically and cold applied.
General Glue HV is ready for use, possibly after pre-heating in a water bath during winter. Panels mounting with glue dots: 10 dots per m², each dot 50-80 gr. Tot. 500-800 g/m² Panels mounting with glue strips: 4 strips, each 4 cm wide, per m². Tot. 650-850 g/m². Near the perimeter, protruding elements and bulges in general, the strips number should be doubled and bonding is to be integrated with mechanical fasteners. For slopes greater than 5%, however, the bonding has to be integrated with mechanical fasteners.
